Make It Easy For Kids to Help
At our house, children are responsible for setting the table for dinner. To do this, our oldest daughter hoists herself onto the counter every evening to get plates and glasses housed in an upper cabinet. Could we make it any more difficult for her?
I've decided to move the plates and glasses to a lower cabinet. Not only is this arrangement much easier and safer, it paves the way for delegating the task of unloading the dishwasher! You'll have better luck delegating if you make jobs as easy as possible.
